Fellowship
 “Support and nurture members’ personal and career growth, as well as act as powerful resources to each other.” As members provide information about successes and challenges, committee obtains member approval to have PR include public accolades on our web site or inclusion in e-blast, as appropriate. Also sends sentiments to members for personal celebrations or tragedies, helps to connect members with common interests or through social networking sites, greets members/ guests at monthly meetings/networking events, and encourages attendance and participation.
Networking Events
 Provide members with social opportunities to get to know each other and have fun! Schedules and plans a variety of social events throughout the year that are opportunities for members to interact and expand their networks. Works within the budget, handles logistics and sends information to the e-blast communicator for both RSVP and drop-in events, such as the President’s reception, holiday party, and other events.
Programs
 “Provide professional and personal growth and enrichment.” Offer compelling speakers, who will attract members to attend monthly meetings, because they inspire, challenge and/or teach us. Solicit topic and speaker ideas from membership and board, then identify, choose and schedule speakers. Provide sufficient background on speakers and topics to communication committee in time to stimulate interest in program attendance. Provide administrative support group with audio/visual needs. Schedule 10 programs during the year: June - April, with no meeting in December and WINGS graduation in May.
Prospective Member Committee
 To enhance the long term sustainability of WE by continually identifying and recruiting add new and diverse, accomplished women. Develop a member prospect list that is intentional in helping our membership’s diversity and balance of race, ethnicity, industry representation, size of employer, corporate vs. entrepreneurs, etc. Committee members will or ask members to reach out to prospects who will enhance the image of WE, fit our membership criteria and help achieve diversity and balance.
Orientation
 Conducts group sessions for new WE members to provide information such as organizational structure, ways we stay connected via web site (directory, calendar, message board), e-blasts, quarterly and annual mailings, ideas for how to get engaged by joining a committee, signing up for luncheon ladder, attending meetings and networking events. Find ways to help new members assimilate during their first year of membership. A successful orientation will help members engage early and become long time members.
Web Site
 Responsible for current redevelopment/enhancements to improve content, functionality, and usefulness of the WE website for its members. Maintain the contract and relationship with web hosting firm. Help promote members’ use of the web site, our key communication tool, for communication of WE programs, events, member news, WECS, directory, as well as staying in touch with one another.
Directory
 Encourages member ongoing use and updating of our online directory, which is a key get-acquainted/networking tool. Gathers information from board that is a necessary part of the printed directory. Term is 4/1 through printing and distribution of the directory in May the following year.
E-blasts
 Gathers information and writes rich, timely content for administrative group to distribute to members. E-blasts are written each Friday for distribution each Monday. Additional e-blasts are distributed on a limited basis to promote upcoming events and time sensitive news whose distribution it critical before the next weekly e-blast. E-blasts are meant to be short and fresh each week, to encourage viewing, with links for members to follow for more in-depth information.
WE Quarterly/Annual Communication
 Gathers and edits information included in the quarterly communications with WE members. Communicates content deadlines and works through critical path to distribution. Typical content could include upcoming programs, social events, orientation meetings, new member application deadlines and other timely information. Also gathers and edits information included in the annual communication.
Public Relations/Special Projects
 Maintains media contact list for WE. Writes press releases on key events: officer elections, key speakers, milestone events. Maintains WE web site PR page by maintaining posting guidelines, obtaining news from Support and Celebration Chair and posting accordingly. Maintains Member News page on web site. Supports member survey projects and other special projects as needed.
By-Laws
 Maintains by-laws by meeting, as needed, to discuss proposed changes. Submit changes to membership for approval.
Historian
 Maintains important documents and records for WE and WECS and ensures that material is submitted to the web site for updating and to the paper archives, as appropriate.
Interest in Participating in WECS or WINGS - This information will be shared with the WECS Board. Please check the box.
 Scholar Selection Panel Member - this is a one time role each spring to serve on a selection panel for new scholar selections.
 
 School Liaison/Administrator - each liaison is assigned one of the schools that receive scholarships, working with the school contact, developing a pool of candidates at the school, participating in the selection process at the school and hosting the school contact at the graduation luncheon.
 
 Mentor - makes herself available for their assigned WINGS scholar through periodic contact, leveraging other WE members to be a resource to the scholar and serving as a positive role model.
 
 WECS Special Project - the WECS Board has special projects from time to time and need additional resources to work on campaigns, events and other misc. projects.
